Finding Happiness in the Small Things

I'm not even half way done with my 100 days of happiness quest, but so far, I absolutely love this little project that I've given myself.  I find myself more aware of things throughout the entire day.  I'm finding more happiness in the small things I'm encountering.  It's refreshing.  I've found that I'm so much more thankful for what I have recently.  When I look back through the nearly 30 days of pictures I've taken, I realize how much happiness surrounds me every single day!

I was just telling Art the other day that the longer I do this, the more challenging it becomes to find a brand new picture of happiness each day.  Then I realized, it's not more challenging, I just need to open up my eyes and ears more to the joyful things and let the pessimistic thoughts go.  Just doing that reveals a whole other world of happiness that's always been right in front of me.
